project runway!

So here is what we have sort of been up to minus the lazy days watching burn notice and lounging!

1.our bedroom I put together this photo wall and made new pillows.

2.We sanded down our old coffee table and painted it red then stained it.

3.I finally braved up and put out a few rugs turns out gus doesnt want to eat them he wants to snuggle them.

4.We painted one of the downstairs walls brown and added a thick baseboard also. Shane also made that cute orange table!

5/6. The craft room is happening finally! slowly but surely.

7.I couldn't help it! I found this note this morning and it made me smile from ear to ear. Its from Shane from the Christmas before we got married. We always used to draw each other pictures in high school so every once in a while we receive one of these beauty's! Hes the cutest...

Its a new year its a new day!

So I have most of the same ole new years resolutions... Be more tidy, weigh what I did in high school, be less moody you know all the fun ones that I usually do the first month then kinda forget about them. But this year yes I want to do those things but along with them I want to work on myself try to stay being the girl shane fell in love with, start living the healthy way, become a better friend. I feel like I sometimes get lost in trying to do every day things that I forget the important things in life. So this is my goal this year and I hope to keep at it for my whole life.
